Barn Finds work a bit differently in Forza Horizon 6, and you'll notice it pretty early if you're used to the old wristband-style unlocks. This time, the game leans on the Discover Japan stamp system, so you're not just grinding races and waiting for rumours to pop. You build progress by exploring, clearing local activities, and filling out the Collection Journal. That also means planning matters. If you're restoring cars or speeding things along with FH6 Credits, it helps to know which stamp tier you're aiming for before you start chasing every dirt road on the map.

How the stamp system controls Barn Finds
There are seven Discover Japan tiers, and each one opens up more Barn Find rumours. Visitor starts things off with one car, then Sightseer adds two more. Traveller brings another pair, while Pathfinder is the big jump with four new barns. Navigator and Adventurer each unlock two, and Master Explorer gives you the last two cars. It's cumulative, so nothing gets locked away if you move on. You can take your time, but if you want the full set of 15 cars, you'll need to reach Master Explorer at 7/7.

Best ways to gain Discover Japan progress
The quickest route isn't always hammering race after race. Stories are the best use of your time, especially the yellow-badge events, because they push stamp progress faster than most other activities. Street races and touge battles still help, of course, and they're good when you want a break from structured missions. Food delivery jobs, photo spots, mascot challenges, Drift Club Japan events, Day Trips, vehicle collecting, and upgrades all add up too. A smart approach is to clear nearby activities by region instead of bouncing across the whole map every five minutes.

All 15 Barn Find cars by unlock tier
The car list is fixed, though the order you hear rumours can feel a little different from one save to another. Visitor unlocks the 2005 Honda NSX-R GT. Sightseer adds the 1969 Toyota 2000GT and 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500. Traveller brings the 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R and 1989 Nissan Pao. Pathfinder opens up the 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3, 1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16, 1962 Lincoln Continental, and 1998 Nissan #23 Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R. Navigator adds the 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Evolution and 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV. Adventurer brings the 1998 Nissan R390 GT1 and 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Time Attack. Master Explorer finishes the set with the 1983 Nissan Skyline Turbo Super Silhouette and 1991 Mazda 787B.

Where the barns tend to hide
The barns are spread across Japan's regions, and some are tucked away better than others. Ohtani has three, including the NSX-R GT near a river valley and the Porsche deep in bamboo. Ito has four, with coastal, wooded, and dirt-path spots covering the Toyota 2000GT, Sierra RS500, Diablo SV, and Skyline Super Silhouette. Nangan and Minamino each hold one barn, while Hokubu hides the Lincoln in a central forest patch. Takashiro has the Pennzoil GT-R and Mazda 787B, and Shimanoyama covers the Peugeot, Montero Evolution, and Lancer Time Attack. ANNA's drone is genuinely useful once you're inside a search zone.

Restoration and the cars worth chasing first
Finding the barn isn't the same as driving the car. After discovery, the vehicle goes into restoration, and the wait changes depending on the model. You can let time pass naturally, or use FH6 Credits for sale as part of your wider garage plan if you prefer moving faster through upgrades and recovery costs. The Mazda 787B, Nissan R390 GT1, and Honda NSX-R GT are the real headline prizes, while the Skyline variants, Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3, Peugeot 205 Turbo 16, and Sierra RS500 are easy favourites for tuning fans. The Nissan Pao won't win every race, but it's got charm, and sometimes that's enough.
